Naphthenic base oil

Naphthenic base oils have unique characteristics that make them well-suited for use in specialized applications and environments. Naphthenic base oils contain much less wax than a comparable paraffinic base oil, giving them much better low-temperature pour points and higher solvency performance. Traditionally it can be used in products like metalworking fluids and transformer oils.
