Petrochemicals are one of four core business lines at Sinolook — alongside base oil, lubricant additives and brake fluids. We source from major refineries across global markets, then consolidate cargoes for customers who would otherwise need to manage half a dozen suppliers separately.
Our current focus covers two product families: petroleum waxes (microcrystalline wax, slack wax) and glycols (propylene glycol, mono/di/triethylene glycol). New SKUs are added regularly based on customer demand — if you need a specific chemical not listed here, ask us.

Petroleum Wax
High-melting microcrystalline wax (75–90°C) and refinery-grade slack wax. Used in candles, rubber compounding, packaging coatings, polishes, hot-melt adhesives and tyre antiozonants.

Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for petrochemicals?
MOQ depends on the product and packaging. For drummed products (wax, PG), we accept orders from 1 pallet (4 drums). For IBC totes, MOQ is 1 tote. For bulk ISO tank shipments, MOQ is 1 tank (typically 22–24 MT). New customers can start with a trial order to evaluate quality before committing to a full container.
Can you supply food-grade or pharmaceutical-grade propylene glycol?
Yes. Our propylene glycol is available in USP grade (United States Pharmacopeia, for pharmaceuticals and food), FCC grade (Food Chemicals Codex), cosmetic grade, and industrial grade. Each shipment ships with a full Certificate of Analysis (COA) and SGS inspection report verifying the grade specification.
Do you supply other petrochemicals besides wax and glycols?
Yes. While our two main in-stock product families are wax and glycols, we regularly source on-demand petrochemicals through our refinery network — including PTA (purified terephthalic acid), white spirit, glycol ethers, paraffin wax, and various aromatic solvents. Email us with your specification and we'll come back with availability and pricing.
How do you ensure quality consistency between shipments?
Every shipment follows the same 5-step SGS-inspected protocol used for our ADNOC Group III base oil line: shore-tank inspection before loading, sealed sample bottles, COA documentation, port-of-discharge re-inspection, and final post-discharge verification. We maintain traceable batch records for every shipment, accessible on request.
What's the typical lead time from order to delivery?
For in-stock products from our global bonded storage network, 7–14 days to load. For products sourced fresh from refineries, 15–30 days. Ocean transit adds 10–35 days depending on destination port. We confirm the production schedule and ETA at PI stage so customers can plan inventory.
What packaging and logistics options are available?
Sinolook supplies petrochemicals in drums (200L), IBC totes (1,000L), ISO tanks (22–24 MT) and flexitanks. Our global bonded storage network spans strategic Asia-Pacific hubs for rapid delivery worldwide. We arrange all shipping documents including COO, fumigation, MSDS in multiple languages, and Halal certification for relevant markets.
