Xiamen Sinolook Oil Co., Ltd

Petroleum wax supplier

Microcrystalline Wax & Slack Wax Supplier

Sinolook supplies petroleum wax to manufacturers worldwide — six grades of microcrystalline wax (drop melting point 67–81°C) plus slack wax, sourced from refineries in China, Korea and Thailand. SGS-inspected, with COA on every shipment.

About our wax

Petroleum wax for industrial & consumer manufacturing

Petroleum wax is a core part of Sinolook's petrochemical line. We supply two main families: microcrystalline wax — high-melting, fine-crystal wax prized for flexibility and adhesion — and slack wax, a versatile semi-refined feedstock for further processing.

Our grades cover drop melting points from 62°C to 81°C and oil content from under 1% to around 8%, so customers can match wax to their exact application — candles, rubber, packaging, polishes, adhesives or downstream refining. Every shipment ships with a full SGS-verified Certificate of Analysis.

Product 1

Microcrystalline Wax

Six grades sourced from China and Korea, covering low to high melting points. CAS No. 63231-60-7.

Microcrystalline Wax — Grade Comparison

CAS 63231-60-7 · HS 2712.90

Microcrystalline wax has finer, less-ordered crystals than paraffin, giving it higher flexibility, tackiness and a higher melting point. Used in cosmetics, rubber compounding, adhesives, coatings and candle blending.

Slack Wax

Semi-refined wax with controlled oil content, sourced from Thailand. CAS No. 64742-61-6.

Slack Wax — Grade Comparison

CAS 64742-61-6 · HS 2712.20

Slack wax is a by-product of lube base oil refining, used as a feedstock for fully-refined paraffin, candles, board sizing, emulsions, fire-logs and rubber. Oil content varies by grade, giving customers a cost-effective wax for downstream processing.

FAQ

Wax — frequently asked questions

What's the difference between microcrystalline wax and slack wax?

Microcrystalline wax has fine, irregular crystals giving high flexibility, tackiness and a higher melting point — ideal for cosmetics, adhesives and rubber. Slack wax is a semi-refined by-product of lube oil refining with higher oil content, used mainly as a feedstock for further refining, candles, and emulsions. Microcrystalline wax is a finished product; slack wax is often an intermediate.

Which microcrystalline wax grade should I choose?

It depends on your melting point and hardness needs. Lower grades like 70# (melting point 67.6°C) are softer and more flexible; higher grades like 80A (80.6°C) are harder with higher melting points. 160S and 170S are Korean grades with distinct viscosity profiles. Send us your application and we'll recommend the best match — or request samples of several grades to test.

Can you provide a Certificate of Analysis (COA)?

Yes. Every shipment includes a full COA listing drop melting point, colour, oil content, kinematic viscosity, penetration and (where applicable) flash point and specific gravity, tested to ASTM and GB/T standards. Pre-shipment SGS inspection is available on request, and we send sealed samples before bulk orders.

What is the minimum order quantity for wax?

For solid wax in bags, MOQ typically starts at 1 pallet for trial orders, scaling to full container loads (FCL). For liquid/molten grades in IBC or ISO tank, MOQ is 1 tote or 1 tank. New customers are welcome to start with a small trial order to evaluate quality before committing to bulk.

Where is your wax sourced from?

Our microcrystalline wax grades 70#–80B are produced in China, while 160S and 170S come from Korea. Slack wax grades 500SW and BSSW are sourced from Thailand. Multi-origin sourcing lets us offer a range of melting points, oil contents and price points, with backup supply options on every grade.

Can you source custom wax grades?

Yes. If you need a melting point, oil content or colour outside our standard grades, we can source to your target specification through our refinery network. Email us your spec sheet and we'll confirm availability, lead time and pricing.

Ready to order microcrystalline or slack wax?

Tell us the grade, target melting point and oil content, quantity and destination port — we'll respond within 24 hours with COA samples and a delivered quotation.
