ADbase uses high-paraffinic crude as feedstock, going through hydrocracking, pre-distillation, hydro-isomerization and product distillation to deliver consistently high VI and ultra-low sulphur Group III base oil.

What is base oil?
Base oil is the main component of finished lubricants, typically making up 70–99% of the formulation. It is produced by refining crude oil or by chemical synthesis. The American Petroleum Institute (API) classifies base oils into five groups based on saturates content, sulphur level and viscosity index.
What are the differences between Group I, II and III base oils?
