From brake fluid to base oil — 25 years of building trust.
Sinolook started in 2000 as a small workshop manufacturing automotive brake fluid in Fujian, China. The founders had a simple belief: that quality and reliability would matter more than scale.
That belief took us further than we imagined. In 2011, we established Xiamen Sinolook Oil Co., Ltd. to import and distribute base oils — the raw material that the entire lubricant industry depends on. Within three years we'd opened four regional offices across China, serving lubricant blenders from Liaoning to Guangdong.
In 2013 we signed our first long-term agreement with Formosa for Group II base oil. By 2016 we were importing ADNOC Group III. In 2019, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company chose us as their long-term partner. And in 2020, after years of consistent performance, ADNOC made us their exclusive distributor of ADbase Group III in China — a partnership shared by only four companies worldwide.

Xiamen Sinolook Oil Co., Ltd. Established
Set up to import and distribute base oil and other petrochemicals across China — marking our expansion from manufacturing to trading.
Four Regional Sales Offices Opened
Northern China, Eastern China, Southern China and South-west China offices established to serve end-user customers directly.
Long-Term Agreement with Formosa
First major refinery partnership — long-term supply agreement signed with Formosa Petrochemical Corporation for Group II base oil.
ADNOC Long-Term Sales Agreement
Long-term sales agreement signed with Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) for ADbase Group III. Business expansion into specialty oils.
ADNOC Exclusive Distributor in China
Upgraded to exclusive seller agreement — one of only four exclusive ADbase distributors worldwide (Sinolook · Penthol · Chemlube · ADNOC Distribution).
Group Expansion: Hongkong & Singapore
Sinolook Hongkong Limited and Sinolook Singapore Pte. Ltd. established to serve as the international trading and supply backbone. Joined the Asian Lubricant Industry Association.

ADNOC produces up to 500,000 metric tons per year of Group III base oil at its Ruwais refining complex in Abu Dhabi. Sinolook is responsible for delivering that premium feedstock to over 300 end-user customers across China — and onwards into Asia-Pacific.
